Tegallalang, Bali, Indonesia, 7/3/2012. Grebeg participants shouting to away the wicked spirit in the village. Tegallalang villagers are well-known for their "Gerebeg" ritual. It is a ceremony conducted every 6 months according to balinese calendar, to guard the village from evil traits and bad luck. In this ritual, young folks and children paint their faces or bodies. Then they march across the village as a symbol to woo away the wicked spirits.
